The Forecasts page is planned as the main planning surface for forward-looking MRP. It is intended to project item demand, account for lead times and safety stock, and feed recommended production or purchasing actions.

Forecasts now has a visible placeholder in the active UI, but the deeper forecast engine and projection workflows are still planned roadmap work.
