Locations represent physical storage areas: pantry shelves, fridges, freezers, cabinets, and more. Each location has a type (Shelf, Fridge, Freezer, Cabinet) that drives cold-chain enforcement. When you receive or transfer stock, you assign it to a location.

Knowing where things are is just as important as knowing how many you have. Location-level tracking lets you enforce cold-chain rules (no frozen items in the pantry), optimize pick paths, and quickly find items during production or order fulfillment.
